Photograph of exterior of a house from the House Beautiful Exhibition at Leimert Park, Los Angeles, CA, 1928. "Subject: Leimert Park House Client: Walter H. Leimert, Service Year: 1928 Job: 1-3-7" -- on envelope. The house was a part of the House Beautiful exhibition. It was (and, as of November 2014, still is, although it's been modified) located on the north-east corner of Sutro Avenue and 43rd street. The House Beautiful exhibition showcased 6 new houses in various subdivisions in Los Angeles, two of which were in Leimert Park. The other house was located at 4150 Sutro Avenue.
