Photograph of "side view of St. Paul's Hospital when the Maryknoll Sisters took it over in 1927. The ancient cars were old-fashioned even then but they still could run. The building with 8-ft thick walls, 20-ft high ceilings, huge windows, was suited to climate. It had been standing 100 years and would have stood several hundred more if World War II had not completely demolished it."
