Description: View of the James Lick Mansion from across the Guadalupe River. This original structure (it was added to after this date) stood only a few steps from Lick's Mill. Mr. Lick placed the house, the mill, the flour warehouse and the worker's quarters all within earshop of each other. On the west bank of the Guadalupe River, about a quarter mile north of Montague Road.
