Description
Certificate of recognition for financial assistance, includes photo of church.
Certificate reads: Founded on October 24, 1874 by a group of Moravians under the leadership of Rev. J. Mortimer Levering, later Bishop of the Moravian Church. Corner Stone laid August 28, 1876. The first Moravian Church Uhirchsville, Ohio, For Fifty years has stood as a sanctuary for worship and a monument of uplifting Christian Service to God and fellow man in the community. This certificate is granted in grateful recognition of financial assistance in the repair and improvement of Church properties during 1924 and 1925. Board of Trustees Philip Skaer, President, Willaim A. Huebner, Secretary, Ivan Guthrie, John Lehwe, Clarence Shamel, George F. Weinland, Pastor.
