Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Hammond Lumber Company, ca.1930. In the left foreground, what seems to be a small gas station sits on the side of a street with cars driving along in both directions. Cars can be seen on the right in a parked line and driving about in front of a building labeled "Warehouse 2". Two gigantic rectangular entryways to the warehouse are wide open while a building sits in the center. This large building has two smokestacks on the left and two large funnel structures with long pipes extending out to the right and into the building. Stacks of long crate like objects sit in front of the building to the left.
