Description
Mrs. Nira Hardon, arrow, appears before the Board of Education and complains of teacher-placement discrimination. She said she knew of 12 Negro teachers willing to testify that when they sought transfers they were told that "certain areas of the city were not yet ready for Negroes." Photo dated: June 25, 1963.
