Photograph caption dated February 13, 1959 reads "Grassless front lawn is reminder that $5,000,000 Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda is Valley's newest senior high. School, opened this month with 1,300 10th and 11th graders, will expand later to 3,000. Most students transferred from overcrowded Reseda High School which went off half-day sessions as result. William A. Farmer heads staff."
