Yukio Mochizuki updates Professor Donald Hata about his research on the Japanese Peruvians during World War II, a topic he has undertaken for an independent study he is doing with Professor Hata for course credit. He explains in this memo that he was unable to record a recent interview with Mr. [Manuel E.] Ikari, whose name he received from another interviewee.
