Photograph article dated February 2, 1962 reads, "A bus trip is always fun, but when it's topped off with a tour of a newspaper plant, the event is bound to be filled with 'Gee Whiz' expressions. When a group of 37 youngsters from Mrs. Myrtle Wixman's third grade class, Wilbur Avenue Elementary School, 5213 Crebs Ave., Tarzana, toured the Valley Times TODAY recently, staff photographer Larry Paulson went along. Below are some of the scenes he spied." Photograph caption reads, "Gee! Is that how it's done, mister? Boys see mat made that will serve as a mold for a press plate."; See images #00130804 through #00130806 for all photos in this series.
