Photograph caption dated June 8, 1961 reads, "Casey Tibbs, champion bronco rider, and Mission Hills Fiesta queen Daryle Ann Pickens, 16, 17230 Gresham St., Northridge, stop horses, discuss Tibbs' Professional Rodeo which will be held this weekend at Sepulveda and Brand boulevards, Mission Hills. Saddle bronc [sic] riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, calf roping and bull riding, all in the early California flavor of the fiesta, will highlight event. Shows are set for 8 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday."
