Photograph caption dated November 14, 1947 reads, "Eddie Dean, top ranking star of Western musical films, feeds his horse 'Copper' a bit of sugar while telling him that they will take part in a special western show at the Biltmore Hotel Ballroom, October 12th, for delegates to the national convention of National Association of Postmasters. Dean will sing songs from his latest pictures and recordings at the President Reception opening event of the 5 day meeting."
