Title supplied by cataloger. The Musto-Keenan Company, which now operates under the name MK Diamond Products, was known in the 1950s for making quality diamond tools for cutting marble and tile. Here on the eastern side of the Los Angeles River in the Central Manufacturing District are numerous industrial facilities located off of S. Soto Street between 26th Street and Washington Boulevard. Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe trains carry freight west over the river, not far from the railroad's roundhouse at Redondo Junction (top, left). Behind the trains the Musto-Keenan Co. plant (center, right), is visible at 1801 S. Soto Street. Photographed for Crescent Oil & Refining Co. on August 5, 1955.
