Description
This 1910 photograph shows Sacramento beer hall owner William Dreher posing with his dog, Limberger. Dreher co-owned Turner Hall Cafe with Louis Graber. Sacramento Turn Verein hosted events in Turner Hall, which like many similar establishments suffered during Prohibition. In 1934, Dreher opened Tannhauser Beer Garden.
