Description
Wiggsy Sivertson and Ken Yeager stand between several banquet tables of people at an unidentified event. Elizabeth Birch is seated in the chair in front of Yeager. Arthur Morris is seated at the far right front partially facing the camera. There are balloons with stars on them as centerpieces at each table.
Wiggsy Sivertsen co-founded BAYMEC and GALA, the Gay and Lesbian/Bisexual Student Alliance at SJSU, and helped organize the first indoor Gay Pride Day Celebration at SJSU in 1975. Ken Yeager was elected to the San Jose City Council and to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
