Description
Photograph article dated February 6, 1965 partially reads, "Paul Lyman Thomas, a senior student at Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks, ranks as one of the nation's top scholars as a result of the National Merit examination which placed him among the 639 finalists. His accomplishment in the 1964-65 National Achievement Scholarship Program for outstanding Negro students was announced by Brother Nivard Meichtry, CSC, principal of Notre Dame."
