Description
In this letter written on October 12th, 1886, J. W. Burdette appointed L. S. Dyan in name and place to appear at the stockholders meeting of the San Antonio Water Company held in November 1886. The letter was written on the Electric Light and Power Company letterhead, which was located in Burlington, Iowa. The letter appoints L. S. Dyan to represent and vote the 20 shares of stock owned and held by J. W. Burdette. The letter confirms and ratifies the acts of L. S. Dyan as though they were done by J. W. Burdette. The letterhead names C. W. Rand as president, E. C. Spinney as vice-president, J. W. Burdette as secretary, and Geo. Stewart as the manager of the Electric Light and Power Company.
