Description
Photograph of factory exterior of Pacific Clay Products, May 1928. At center, the large rectangular factory can be seen. The factory has a ridged rooftop, and several lines of windows line the side of the structure. At the front of the factory, a group of nine rectangular smokestacks can be seen. The smokestack near the center can be seen emitting a small stream of white smoke. Between these smokestocks, several wide cylindrical tanks can be seen in a large cluster. Moving further in the foreground, stacks and pallets of various materials are visible in a large dirt lot. A small fence can be seen at the border of the lot forming the perimeter of the factory. In the extreme foreground to the left, pools of water can be seen in an open dirt lot, and sets of railroad tracks move from the left to the right. On the far right, a single road lies adjacent to the factory with a small building nearby. In the extreme background, several metallic spires can be seen lining an industrial site.
