Description
The grand opening of the new section in China City, a Chinese settlement at Main and Macy Streets, after a fire had burned many shops and a Chinese theatre. Mr. Chan on the stage has just gotten through "fighting a Chinese lion" and is ready to exhibit the art of shadow boxing to an attendance of more than 3000 persons on August 3, 1939.
