Photographic portrait of a young Navajo Indian girl weaving a blanket, ca.1900. The girl can be seen wearing a polka-dot dress and several bead necklaces. She is visible looking to the right while sitting on a fur rug. In front of her is a loom, which she uses a wooden stick to weave through. Ropes, attached to logs, hold up the loom. To her left is basket sitting next to a chopped down pine(?) tree.
