Description
British Broadcasting Corporation high-power station at Droitwich, England. Opened on October 7, 1934, construction began in 1933. Each tower is 700 ft in height, the highest BBC structures at that time. Published in Civil Engineering, December 1934. [From Doug Perham file: C. F. Elwell]
