A crowd surrounds him, including, from left to right: Stanley Anderson of the Beverly Hills Hotel, Mrs. Conrad Nagel, and Mr. Conrad Nagel. George Barker, the president of Barker Brothers is at Mr. Rogers' left, while Rogers' wife is pictured behind him holding flowers. A man leaning near the flagpole to the right is Rob Wagner. The rest of the people in the crowd are unidentified. Signs read: "Home to Pick His Oranges", "Home to Thaw Out", "Beverly Hills Welcomes Mayor Will" and "We Love our Doug...But Oh You Will".
