Description
"Peanut-brittle" Topanga formation at the foot of the grade near the spring in Topanga Canyon, Santa Monica Mountains. Road cut along Topanga Canyon Highway shows conglomerate of boulders and sedimentation of an ancient river bed in Eocene time.
