Description
Navy type audion detector article by Bernard Kahn, November, 1916 issue of QST, featuring the Navy Type audion detector tube developed by Dr. Lee de Forest, used exclusively by the U.S. Navy. From Gerald F. J. Tyne, with note on reverse: #6020. Photographed primarily to show adapter used to accommodate CF-185 tube to candelbra base socket.
