Description
Photograph caption dated December 14, 1959 reads, "Ancient Engine - Standing on spur near depot on ranch is old steam locomotive which once ran on Denver-Rio Grande line from Durango, Colo. Also on ranch is warehouse where Autry's huge show trailer, carriages and horseless carriages are stored with film cowboy's 10-stall stable nearby. In addition to Melody Ranch, Autry owns three others in Colorado, Texas and Arizona, all working ranches. John Brousseau is manager of Newhall property."
