Photograph caption dated November 13, 1958 reads, "Capt. Jack Walker officially enlists one of nation's outstanding singing quartets in the popular recording field - the Four Preps - at the Air National Guard Base in Van Nuys. Preps, from left, Don Clarke, Bruce Belland, Glen Larson and Ed Cobb will now devote one weekend a month for the next three years to their assigned duties as members of the Transportation Squadron, 146th Tactical Fighter Wing, California Air National Guard."
