Description
Photograph of a Real Estate Parade (?) during the Boom Days, San Diego, November 18, 1885. A train of multiple horse-drawn carriages roll down the street from the left foreground to the right distance. Some carriages advertise for local businesses while others are decorated in American flags. What appear to be two- to five- story commercial buildings line the left side of the unpaved street. Cart signs read "Bargains in Park Additon To-morrow" and "City Transfer Co.". Other legible signs include: "Williams & Ingle. Sewer Iron Pipe". Picture file card reads "Questionable. Read typed page on back of duplicate print".
