Description
Photograph of Monrovia residence, perhaps belonging to Henry Waterman, ca.1920. In the foreground at center, a wide street can be seen extending from left to right. A sidewalk is seen adjacent to the street with vegetation and a small tree growing along the curb. Along the sidewalk, a large shrub wall can be seen connecting to a gated, wooden fence. Beyond the fence at center, a two-story home can be seen. A triangular awning supported by four columns can be seen extending from the frontal entryway. Three rectangular windows and shutters can be seen on either side of the front door at the bottom level, and three small windows with drapes can be seen along the top floor. A small chimney can be seen protruding from the slanted roof. Large trees can be seen further to the left.
