Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the "Daily Appeal" Newspaper, Carson City, Nevada, ca.1935. A short, brick building with several wooden doors stands at center on the corner of a street and houses the "Daily Appeal". An electrical pole stands just outside the building's front entrance while the lines extend down the street to the left. Two automobiles can be seen on the left parked outside the two taller, brick buildings that stand next to the "Daily Appeal". One has a sign hanging from the entrance which reads "Carson Café" and a third automobile is parked on the adjacent street on which sits a second wall of the "Daily Appeal". The newspaper was established in 1864.
