Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a deserted church in Chinese Camp, ca.1930. The "deserted church stands on top of the hill in back of the town" raised on a concrete platform. The arched doorway stands in a wall of horizontal wood paneling. The pointed steeple stands at the front of the roof overlooking the surrounding trees. Several arched windows view a white, stone marker which sits to the left of the church and presents a thick cross. An intricate metal fence contains a small yard to the left of the church, just behind the stone marker. The church was built in 1870.
