Description
Photograph caption dated November 14, 1959 reads "Valley College halfback Bob Freis (24) finds it's rough going against the tough Bakersfield defenders during last night's homecoming game by Valley. Making the tackle is Renegade guard Garry Tucker (66) as his cohort Eriks Salmins (65) comes in to assist. Blocking vainly are Valley linemen Dick Allen (62) and Bob Zuliani. Bakersfield dumped Valley from Metropolitan Conference contention, 32-0."
