Photograph of the High Sierras' Long Lake in August, [s.d.]. A clear lake can be seen in the right foreground, extending out towards a snow topped view of nearby Mount Elwell. A reflection of the snowy mountains can be seen on the surface of Long Lake. A forest full of evergreen trees can be seen at the edge of the lake, near the bottom of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The shore of Long Lake can be seen, at left, and a tall cliff can also be seen on the left, a short distance ahead of the shore.
