Description
Annotation translation: "In August 1928 the congregation of the Basel Mission station Kutschuk in South China was richly blessed by the work of a chinese evangelist. There was a great hunger for the word of God. In a short while $200-worth of bibles were wold, and keenly read. The hunger for the gospel has continued. The current pastor, Ku meu tschan, uses all his energy to run bible studies, prayer meetings, evangelisation for non-christians, and services in the houses of the christians, so that the new life in the congregation may be maintained. Our picture shows the pastor with his whole family."
