Description
A railyard for the Red Cars is at the intersection of Glendale and Second, next to the viaduct. Photo caption reads: "The First street-Beverly boulevard viaduct over Glendale boulevard shown above, which has been under construction for more than two years, will be thrown open to traffic sometime next week, the City Engineering Department announced today. The project was built at the cost of $1,000,000". Photo dated: Sep. 2, 1942.
