Part 1: Antone was born and raised in Newark in 1883. He talks about George Patterson and other large land owners, Henry Burdoc, Newark school, artisan wells. Part 2: Antone had the Midway Garage on Jarvis and Fremont Blvd where he raised his family. Talks about Newark salt industry, farming, the railroad, Dugan Hotel and Carter Car Co., foundries. Part 3: Anthony Bettencourt continues to talk about Newark area, Jarvis Landing, Mowry & Larkin Landings, shipping along the bay.
