Photograph caption dated October 22, 1956 reads, "Lighted tunnel guides food cars - Dimly lit passageway weaves its way for a city block underground at St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank, where electric cars pull two or three hot food wagons from spacious kitchen to hungry patients in other parts of hospital. Lefty Bartilet guides his battery-powered vehicle along narrow corridor back to kitchen following noon meal.
