"Lith. Feusier & Turberg. No. 9 Commercial Place, N.O."--text, bottom center margin. After the Civil War, Philadelphia lithographer Augustus Feusier followed new opportunities to New Orleans, where a once-thriving music industry was being revived. He teamed with Pierre Turberg to print sheet-music covers and small local projects such as this membership roster commemorating the soldiers of the original 8th Corps de Afrique Infantry. The 8th Corps served as the garrison at Fort Hudson, Louisiana, in 1864 before becoming the 80th Regiment of the Union Army.
