Photograph was edited for publication purposes The Centre Theater located at 107 S. Maclay Avenue in San Fernando was formerly known as the Towne Theater during the 1940's and renamed the Town Theater in 1952. In 1964, the theater was renovated and re-opened as the Centre Theater. It has since been demolished. Photograph caption dated November 7, 1963 reads, "Community leaders gather at the new Centre Theater in San Fernando for a preview of the completely remodeled movie theater which opens Nov. 20.
