Photograph caption dated December 22, 1962 reads "Lemon or grapefruit? - The fruit growing on the tree looks like a grapefruit, considering that it's three times larger than a standard lemon, so it must be. But it can't be, says Mrs. Ernest Ortega, who holds a normal lemon. The tree has always grown lemons - for the eight years since it has been in her back yard at 17839 Hatton St., Reseda."
