Description
View of Northridge Farms, largest and one of last remaining horse ranches in West Valley community of Northridge, located at 10127 Reseda Blvd. The area is famed for race horse breeding even today, although many large ranches are giving way to subdividing home builders. Ranch was once owned by motion picture stars Barbara Stanwyck and Zeppo Marx under the name 'Marwyck Stables.' Ranch is now owned by J. H. Ryan who lives on a hilltop home within the premises. Photograph dated December 6, 1961.
