Description: Looking north up Palm Canyon Drive, the main thoroughfare of Palm Springs, where the businesses, including the Palm Springs Hotel (left), do not appear busier than usual during President Eisenhower's vacation here. The president asked that there not be any decorations or attention brought to his visit. Photograph dated February 19, 1954.
