Description
The school is overseen by Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, established in 1925 by the Augustinian Friars and located at 2060 North Vermont Avenue in the Los Feliz district of the city.
The Mothers' Club of Our Mother of the Good Counsel School entered into the spirit of the thing when students held the first of four wastepaper drives, scheduled for the 1944-45 school year. Result: the per pupil average approximated 100 pounds. Mrs. Edson Taylor is shown assisting Joan Ibbetson and Dick Seger.
