Photographic portrait of Bosco, teamster for the survey of the Los Angeles Aqueduct Railroad, holding two rattlesnakes, 1907. The man is shown kneeling from his waist to his head and is holding two snakes by their tails near his head. He is wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the collar unbuttoned, and a broad-brimmed hat can be seen on his head. A necklace with a metallic pendant hangs around his neck. Back of photoprint reads: "Survey at L.A. Aqueduct Railroad. We met and killed as many as 13 rattlers in one day. Bosco was our teamster."
