View 1 (2008-1701). At the Tank Farm near San Luis Obispo, Cal., Sept. 6, 1910". Shows group of men standing in front of three tents. Horse-drawn wagon visible to left. "Charles Evans" -- handwritten in pen with arrow pointing to second man on right. "Aston - Photo - no. 80" -- in lower right corner -- view 2 (2008-1771). "Grading camp at Tank Farm near San Luis Obispo, Cal., July 25, 1910, Weber-Duller Co. of L.A." Shows building surround by tents, horses, wagons, stacks of hay in open valley, hills in distance -- view 3 (2008-1773). "Weber-Duller Co. of L.A. Constructing 1,000,000 Bbl. concrete reservoir at Tank Farm near San Luis Obispo, Cal. Sept. 6, 1910". Shows round concrete tank with men, horses, equipment inside. "Aston - Photo - no. 82" in lower right corner.

Shows man, team of mules hitched to construction equipment in foreground. Men and teams of horses in depression. "Aston - Photo - no. 9" in lower right corner -- view 5 (2008-1772). "Weber-Duller Co. of L.A. constructing 1,000,000 Bbl. concrete reservoir at Tank Farm near San Luis Obispo, Cal. Aug 5, 1910." Shows men, teams of horses and construction equipment. "Aston - Photo - no. 27" in lower right.
Built by Producers Transportation Company as part of system of pumping stations to move oil from San Joaquin Valley to port at Avila. Tank Farm was approximately twelve miles from port.
