Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated April 29, 1964 reads, "Two Los Angeles firemen try in vain to quench fire at the Neiman-Reed Lumber Co., 13301 Burbank Blvd., Van Nuys, Tuesday night. The fire raged out of hand for a half hour before more than 40 firemen could control the blaze. Cause of the $25,000 fire was under investigation today."
