Thomas J. Betzer, pastor of the Northridge Church of the Nazarene... The Northridge minister, who majored in religion and philosophy, believes that we can accept some of the beliefs of the major philosophers who were influenced by the Scriptures, when it can be applied to the Christian way of life. A graduate of Pasadena City College and the Nazarene Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Mo., Mr. Betzer was pastor of Burbank Church of the Nazarene and San Anselma Church of the Nazarene before accepting the call to the Northridge church five years ago."
