Description
Pacific Electric Railway streetcar no. 5135 on tracks in North Hollywood, on the Van Nuys line in the San Fernando Valley. The sign on the front of the car says "Los Angeles." Cars are seen parked on the road at the right.
"10-12-52 Pacific Electric 5135 No. Hollywood"--text, handwritten in pencil on housing. Title and date devised by cataloger based on notes on housing. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
