Black and white photograph showing food laid out on the ground that had been prepared for a mission anniversary celebration at or near Ihute in 1938. Bowls of food lie on the ground, along with bowls of dumplings, possibly fufu (a dumpling made by grinding boiled vegetables such as yams, cassavas or plantains.) Stone jars and vessels stand on the ground along with a bowl with a small animal carcass. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital, a facility run by the Methodist Missionary Society.
