Description
Photograph shows a group portrait of female campers posing in the woods. One of the girls in the middle of the front row is holding a sword and has a large sombrero-type hat hanging from her neck. There is also a moustache and goatee drawn on her face. They are probably at the YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu in Big Basin, California. The YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu at Big Basin near Boulder Creek attracted about 150 girls for two week sessions in the summer.
