Photograph caption dated January 19, 1962 reads, "Granada Hills Junior Woman's Club sponsored bicycle safety check Thursday afternoon at Von's Market parking lot, 16225 San Fernando Mission Blvd., Granada Hills. All new bicycles and older bikes were checked and licensed in preparation for new school term. Bill Chatelain, 11, checks in with Mrs. Richard Hawthorne, club president, front row, as Patrick Hawthorne, 8, rides up to Mrs. Charles Graham, club safety chairman, back row."
