Shown is a circa 1960 postcard showing the Cordova Lodge, run by local restaurateur George E. Johnson, a Turkish immigrant of Greek descent who came to the United States as a teenager and operated restaurants in New York, North Carolina, and Nevada before settling in Sacramento. The lodge was located at 10701 Folsom Boulevard.
